Okay so, based on reading other reviews, I was nervous on arrival that the hotel would be awful. But it was much better than expected and I was really pleasantly surprised. All the staff I dealt with were lovely and approachable. I stayed in the small room with single bed, shared bathroom and it was nice and clean. Luckily I got one of the rooms with a window so I think that made my stay easier as I was there 4 nights in total (not sure how I would have felt without the window). The rooms were really warm and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly by staff. Only downside to the shared bathroom is the other guests and their cleanliness (no fault of the hotel itself). Location is brilliant for transport and I felt safe in the building - there's a few doors you have to get through with your key card to get to your room.

I needed somewhere to stay for the weekend between my long 14-hour shifts. I wanted something local, cheap and clean. Kip offered this, plus easy check-in, they allowed me to bring my bike to my room. The room is small but practical, with a bedside lamp, TV, plug sockets and a desk. The bed and pillow were comfortable. I don't know how many people were staying in the 6 single units I was in but the bathroom was always clean and free when I needed it. Some noise from the street but I expect that in London

Spotlessly clean. Nice and helpful staff. The hotel itself was very quiet which was great. Bed was very comfortable. Its location is really convenient, right next to Hackney Central Station - so close that its building pretty much serves as the outside wall of the station, with the entrance via the station's car park. Despite this, there is no sound whatsoever from the trains at all, which was great. It's also than 30 minutes to central London. Very well served by public transport.

I had a double room with a window which was perfect for me on my own. My friends are a couple and they said the room was a bit cramped for two. The room was clean with nice decor and a smart TV which was a nice touch. Also a massive mirror and a lovely shower. Towels were included and the room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed! It's close to the train station, literally right outside and there is a costa next door.

Stayed here before in one of the tiny cabin rooms, and after staying in a larger room - it’s really worth it to have your own bathroom and significantly more space. The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean, it’s right next to Hackney Central station so good connections. Great food options and shops surrounding the hotel.
